I've haven't done Blue Monday for awhile and really wanted to share the blue thing in my bra but then I remembered that November is Diabetes Awareness Month so I'm going to wait until then to post pictures of that. (Don't worry -- I'll keep them G-rated.) So, instead, here are the two vintage Ball mason jars that I keep my buttons in. I wish the blue in the jars showed darker in the picture. I swear they really are a pretty shade of blue!
They look a little bluer in this one. Both jars came from a flea market or antique shop (I can't remember which it was). I just wish the buttons were as vintage as the jars.

You're such a sweet lady... and it feels good to know there's someone else out there who likes candy corn as much as I do!

ReplyDeleteI love your old jars. These are really a nice shade of blue. I look for them when I go to flea markets, but around here, they are pretty pricey. Nice Blue Monday Post.

ReplyDeleteWhat pretty blue jars and what a lovely way to display your button collection.
ReplyDeleteHappy Blue Monday!
The jars are great. I love button collections. They remind me of playing with my great grandmother's collection when I was a little girl :)
ReplyDeletetake care,
Dawn
I have a couple of these jars, and they're a gorgeous shade of blue. Love those zinc caps, too.
ReplyDeleteThe blue is really nice. Perfect jars for you button accumulation. It's a whole lot better than pulling them out of the vacuum because they jammed up the belts. Not that that has ever happened to me.
ReplyDeleteI love the old ball jars. I have a lamp or two made from the larger quart size. One is full of buttons, too.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'll use, I mean steal that idea for a future Monday post....Robyn
I love your blue jars. I use mason jars to store buttons sorted by color. But they are not blue jars like yours. Have a happy week!
ReplyDeleteGreat jars; mine have no lids. I just spent the morning sorting all my buttons by color. Didn't have as many pink or blue as I thought I would.
ReplyDeleteYour beautiful blue jars bring back a lot of memories Patty. Many years ago, I had quite a few coming from my grandmothers "cellar". I shared with the rest of my family...alas, mine were broken later on..but the memories are sweet.

I use jars for my button too!
