In 2005, my dad bought me another scanner for Xmas and I never used it. Until tonight. I promised a friend I would post some high school pictures on Facebook.
I have no idea what I am doing. I had to download a driver for Windows Vista since the software was outdated, and I have the instruction guide open, but I pretty much just put this little tissue holder in the scanner, closed the lid, and the next thing I know, it was making sounds and scanning away.
I didn't realize you had to put the item against the edge of the plate, which is why there's so much white around it. But hey, at least I got it to scan!
We had such a good time that day. I think that was probably the best trip I ever had to Disneyland.
Off to scan some more pictures!
I love Disney too. Friends (and family) help make it extra fun.
ReplyDeleteHow fun! We made a trip to Disney when the kids were in Jr. High, elementary school in the fall. It was wonderful, hardly any people and no lines. It was the best time we could have gone. Loved your pic, I have some similar from Six Flags as a kid.
ReplyDeleteYou can crop the white out in a photo program.
ReplyDeleteLookin' jazzy at Disneyland!
I am looking for some cute puppy images for a project called puppy love. Do you have anything?
Oh, check out my Pink Sat. post, there's something there you might like.
What a cute tissue holder... Did you make it or was a something you bought in a store at the time?
ReplyDeleteYou looked so thrilled to get your picture taken...lol. I have never been to Disneyland, only WDW. I should go there someday. I'm glad you got to go when it wasn't too busy there. I have to agree when there aren't huge lines, the parks are great.

ReplyDeleteHeehee. I have no idea why that song just popped into my head. :|
I love the whole tongue thing. You look very cool doing that. I lesser person might feel nerdy having made a face like that.
congrats on the scanner, I really really really really love mine. My sister in law borrowed it for a few days in december and the desk just looked naked. Fortunately, unlike your experience with your sister, I recieved my scanner back in good time.
ReplyDeletehigh school pics, ack. yours is cute but I avoid mine like the plague.
Hey, thanks for your sweet comments about the cards, I'm glad you are enjoying them!
hey, my verification word is 'burst'. that is weird, they rarely make any sense at all.
Hi Patty...when you get a chance come by my blog...I've tagged you for a QUICK & EASY (I promise) fun tag. If you have time to do it that's great, otherwise just let it slide...
ReplyDeleteSO fun! I love the ears! Do you still have them?
ReplyDeleteAwesome pic! You have always been a crack up.
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised that you haven't used your scanner before to turn things into stitch patterns...
