omg. that was too funny. i have a knack for being able to tell if someone is from LA. in new orleans, i meet a lot of people at work who are "in the industry" since they do a lot of film production there. the convo goes like this:
me (deadpan per usual): so...you're from los angeles, huh?
douchebag (startled by my prescience): hey, how'd you know?!
me (deadpan again): because you're wearing $250 dollar jeans and you're an asshole.:::smiles prettily, bats eyelashes:::
9 times out of ten, i get their money. for some reason, tools "in the industry" get off being treated like the fucknuts they are. go figure.
i'm sorry...is this a family-oriented blog?
